Je ne trouve pas ça plus mal qu'elle ne perdure pas dans le country cliché qui commençait à me monter au nez. Titre léger qui tire son originalité du rythme dubstep. Pas inintéressant.

I could make a joke about how I can't wait for this to be the 2nd ever #1 debut on the Billboard Country chart, but fortunately the Billboard directors aren't completely insane. However I now have a theory that Taylor Swift is going to bring about a scary new future for the state of music which becomes distracting when trying to rate her material now.
But enough of my rant, what about the song itself?!
Yep, it sure ain't country. Fortunately, it's not annoying either. This 'direction change' feels a bit unnatural though, I'm not sure what she's trying to prove with it, if anything? Sonically I don't have an issue with it though, and it's a little catchy. I just find it weird.

Wow. Taylor schafft es einen Song zu machen, bei dem ich nicht vor Langeweile einschlafen muss. :)
Mir gefällt "I Knew You Were Trouble" sehr, hauptsächlich oder besser gesagt nur wegen dem Dubstep Part wo sie "Trouble, trouble, trouble" singt. Mir ist trotzdem schleierhaft, wieso sie in den USA solche Erfolge feiert.

Miss Swift erinnert mich dezent an Leann Rimes - so von der Entwicklung.
Erst machte sie hübsche Country-Songs und wechselte dann verstärkt zu Pop. War auch bei Shania Twain ähnlich oder Faith Hill beispielsweise.
Auch bei der Swift gelang dies bislang ganz angenehm gut. Die Vorgänger-Single (mit dem langen Titel) entwickelte sich zum Pop-Ohrwurm.
"I Knew You Were Trouble." weist eine ähnliche Qualität auf. Fein verarbeiteter, unspannender Pop aus dem sogenannten Bilderbuch. 4* gebe ich gerne dafür ab, mehr aber nicht. |
